Creamy Green Veggies & Bacon Casserole

  • 315 g green beans frozen
  • 300 g bacon chopped
  • Pepper
  • 80 g white onion diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp meat seasoning
  • 100 g Grana Padano grated
  • 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 580 g carbonara sauce
  • 500 g broccoli cut into small pieces


  • Preheat oven at 200C.
  • Boil the broccoli & green beans half way through.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan.
  • Add the onions & bacon to the pan, & season with pepper, meat seasoning & curry. Cook for 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • In an oven dish, mix the broccoli, green beans & bacon mixture together.
  • Pour the carbonara sauce over them & cover the dish with aluminium foil. Cook in the oven for 20 minutes.
  • Uncover the pan. Top with breadcrumbs & the cheese. Cook in the oven for 10 minutes.
