In a casserole pan, heat up the oil & melt the butter.
Add the onion to the pan & season it with salt, pepper & garlic powder. Cook for 3 minutes over medium to high heat, stirring occasionally.
Add the sausages & Worchestershire sauce. Cook for 4 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, bacon & mushrooms to the pan. Cook for 7 minutes over medium to high heat, stirring occasionally.
Add the tomato sauce & meat stock to the pan. Bring to a boil & then let simmer for 45 minutes.
Check the consistency of the stew. If it's too runny, add some cornstarch slowly to the pan, mixing it well.
Add the boiled eggs to the stew & let simmer for another 15 minutes.
Serve the stew with some toasted sliced bread for dipping.
